|
|
Hello, I work as a teacher at a university in China. I have a two months holiday in July and August. I would like to work those two months somewhere in Turkey.
Does anyone know of or work for a school that is looking for an extra teacher for the summer?
If you do please PM me and I will send you my CV/Resume.
I am 33 years old, British, qualified, and I have over 4 years teaching experience in Brazil and China. |

language schools slow down during the summer, so you are unlikely to find short term work, unless you do a kids' camp, and they are probably hired up. if you are interested in a longterm contract you are more likely to find work. good luck! |

School's covering the flight from China to UK.

That's pretty much plan B. But i want to come home and see my sis, haven't been home in 4 years. If the school's giving me a flight I might aswell take it, but there's no way I can afford a 2 month holiday in the UK (can anyone?). So I will have to get some sort of job, or just stay for a week, buy me Marmite, then fly back and have a two month holiday in Thailand.
It's a hard life. |

Have you thought about getting a summer job in Britain? There are loads more jobs there for the short-term market than there are here; this kind of residential month long thing hasn't taken off here. |
I had a look, but they were all offering less than I would consider a living wage for a 40 hour week, I'd be better off doing telesales for a couple of months.
The other thing is I need somewhere to stay, all I've got is my sister and she's got a tiny little flat in London.
But anyway, thanks to everyone for posting here, there's no harm in asking is there. I've got an ex-girlfriend in Czech R who's having a look for me, otherwise Thailand here we come. |

Go to the classifieds at www.mymerhaba.com. I've seen a few ads there for summer work. |
