I have looked around for jobs an these have snagged my interest:

Interac. Co. Ltd
English Club
Shunan English School
Bridge Language School
The Queen's Ltd

Has anyone heard anything good/bad about them?

Hello,

Dave's is a wealth of information....

Why don't you give the "Search" function a try. You will get a lot more (and better) information that way than asking people who have already answered them ad nauseum to re-post the same info over again.

If you have a specific question about an issue or a school or company that you can't find the answer to by searching or reading the forum Stickies, then by all means ask.

Just a quick indication of what you are asking for:

For Interac:
Search found 106 matches
Here's a few:

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=20959&highlight=interac
http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=18926&highlight=interac

English Club: (Search found 100 matches) Way too general. Any other name to go with??

Did you mean: "Shane"?

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=10603&highlight=shane+english+school
http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=6370&highlight=shane+english+school

Bridge:
No info.

Queen's:
No info

For some of these, a location might help. Which city? Prefecture?
Also, unless they are fairly large schools, you won't likely find anything about MANY eikaiwa-type schools -- there are just too many of them... Unless there is something unusually bad or unusally good to say about them.

Alternatively, if you can post up a copy of their proposed contract, some of the forum's senior citizens Wink can tell you where the holes are....

Another good source of information, usually about the negative aspects of certain schools, is the Job Information Journal, linked at the top of this page.

There's not much to go on with the Job ads - the usual salary, work hours, visa support and transportation issues. Bridge is in Utsunomiya City and Queens is in Hyogo. Maybe someone will have something to share about what the living conditions are in those cities.

Did a Google search on the info you provided. Another ESL Japan forum had a brief discussion about it here:

http://forum.japantoday.com/m_121973/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#125694

Not much info, but maybe you can PM/e-mail the dude who phoned the company and was sent some info... See if he has gotten any farther with it since the article was posted. (Last year it seems...) Or if he ended up working for them.

It's a bit tough when a company has such a generic name.
