Hello, Just wondering is anyone knows anything about getting a Mexican tax return when I finish my contract and return to my native country. Is this possible and how do I go about it?

I have been told that I should be able to get back all the money that has been deducted from my cheques to pay towards the Fondo de Ahorro for the Mexican retirement fund. Know anything about this and what I need to do?

If that's possible to do, it would certainly be news to me. If you find out more details, please post 'em.

It IS possible.
the best course of action is choosing an AFORE with a bank that is willing to put you in touch with someone in their national office that know how to do it. There are many big companies in Mexico with quite a few foreign employees (that have nothing to do with teaching English). When BANCOMER found out that my school had 15 foriegners they sent a special represtative from Mexico City down to talk to us about their AFORE and getting various problems that we had straightened out. However it is worth mentioning that after his inicial visit, I've never heard from him again.
