Hi,
I have a degree from the University of South Africa. I would like to know if the Taiwan government recognizes this or not. I read somewhere that they don't but am not sure. Is there anyone here who got their visa recently with a Unisa degree?
Thanks |

The Taiwan Ministry of Education no longer controls foreign teacher visa applications and work permits.
You should have no problem getting a degree from the University of South Africa accepted.
Good luck!

While it is true that the MOE is no longer part of the process, I wouldn't be so confident that any degree is acceptible. There are most certainly some universities that are acceptible to the government and others that are not.
I would recommend that you contact the CLA directly to avoid being misled by us here. |

Isn't UNISA solely a distance-learning university? Taiwan doesn't recognize distance / online degrees. |
