Just wanted to drop a line and ask a rather difficult question. Last year I was hired by nova, recieved a visa, and was ready to go. however, i had to decline to go at the last minute, it was out of my control.
I had to not only send my visa back to chicago, where it was issued, but also write an apology letter.
Well, I still want to go now that my circumstances have changed. If I was to be hired by another company (geos, ecc) do you think I can still get a visa? I am scared to try, but my Nova recruiter said that it shouldn't be a problem, only they can't hire me back per policy... any feedback would be appreciated. |

The working visa is not a single issue visa. You can get it more than once even if you did not use it. It's perfectly fine from Nova to not hire you back since they have put lot of efforts and energy in your application. Your new company will have to resubmit all your papers to the immigration for your CoE. It would be nice to put a letter stating why you did not use your previous visa to avoid unnecessary suspicions. |

Sounds like good advice. You don't have anything to worry about. Your not the first person to have unexpected things come up. As long as you followed proper protocol when returning your previous visa, you will not be haunted by it.
Better luck this time around.
