I know this has all been done before but I just wondered if anyone could update me with regard to overall benefits packages.
JKT 10.000.000rp
30 contact hours per week
No health cover
No completion (13th month) payment
Minimal flight payment (would cover approx. half of the return ticket paid at the end of the contract)

It's been almost 2 years since I worked in Indonesia, so 10mil sounds ok but the 30 contact hrs seems alot (compared to China where I earn the same for 20 + a whole load of benefits).
Just wondering if this is the going rate now.
Many thanks

Good money. Very bad hours. When I taught for an EF, I was paid O/T for anything over 24 hours. I once had to work three weeks in a row with 28-30 hours. I was absolutely burnt out and spent those weekends sitting in front of the TV trying to rest and recuperate.
And no bonus, and only half your airfare?
I'd recommend that you keep looking. If you have much experience you can do a lot better. |
