| Hello Everyone. Am thinking of pursuing employment with Direct English. Does anyone know them? They're offering - $1866 base(7000riyals), $400 housing and $134 for insurance($2400 total - about 9000riyals) How is this for a contract? Any info would be much appreciated. |

7000 Riyals is woeful. If it doesn't contravene the ILO then it should.
Do some research - don't be in such a hurry - and you should be able to find something more respectable.
What are your qualifications and what experience do you have?
Even if you need to invent some Mid East experience for your CV it's better than becoming an embarrassment to the TEFL world. |

The health insurance you are given SR500 for will be pretty basic.
The SR1500 for housing will be adequate - just - to rent an unfurnished place but how are you going to pay the SR15,000 it will cost to furnish it? |
