let me see if i've got this straight...
i am going to buy a one-way ticket to TPE and another one way ticket out of Taiwan. the agents at customs won't question me as long as i have an outgoing ticket within the next 60 days? will the agents question me about my travel beyond my next destination? i've been trying to figure out where my outgoing ticket destination should be...cost is the biggest factor. is HKG my best option? if so, what airline is best for the flight? i don't think Eva sells refundable tickets.
also, i have yet to apply for my visa (obviously i have not bought my plane ticket yet). how much time should i give the visa people to ok my travel? i got my passport in about 10 days. essentially, from an american standpoint, how long have you folks waited for your visa approval?
