Hey all
I just got a job with Aeon Corporation starting in October. I am fairly happy with the company I am with, but have noticed the reviews of Aeon are either good or bad depending on location and manager.
Therefore my question is two part. Any information on Taktsuki City would be great and, if anyone has any experience to share about the Aeon branch in Takatsuki that would be much appreciated.
Thanks |

Takatsuki City in Osaka?
I was there for a few weeks. It has two train stations, both the Hankyu and the JR, they are about a 10 min walk from one another.
I remember it being quite the little snack bar/pub/health club haven...at least in the area that I was staying.
I enjoyed it, lots of egg boys and girls (blondes) and a few shady characters here and there...nothing to worry about, a fun little area in my opinion. |

Yeah Takastuki city, in between osaka and Kyoto is a great suburb. it is on the Hankyu/JR lines and is a somewhat more upper class suburb. It has all the major conveniences and even a short shotengai.
One of the highlights is definitely a large park 5 minutes southwest(I believe direction is correct) of the Hankyu station. The park has a large octopus slide in it. The park is great place to hang out and drink or shoot fire works or whatever.
Also there is a funny foreigner strip club called Tripe XXX. Never went there but my wife and I joke about it. There is also a great Jazz bar and they have jazz every sunday night and these larges comfortable couches. Can't remember the name.
Finally in the other side of the street from triple x and to the left down the street if you are standing in front of triple x there is areally interesting shouchu bar called Tsuki n Naka (or inside the moon). There is a miniature wooden door and a Carlsberg beer sign out front. This would depend on your willingness for adventure of course but the shouchu is fabulouse as the masta goes on buying trips to kyushu all the time. Little bars like these were one of my favorite aspects of Japan and one that I miss the most since moving back to the states. Well I think you will like Takastuki. My friend actually worked for Aeon in Takastuki and he liked it. Well Good luck. Hope this helps! |

Another thing that is good about the location is that it is not too far from either Kyoto or Osaka. If you're one for partying the night away, you can go to the bars/clubs in Osaka (many of which close at 5 or 6 am) and just hop back on the train in the morning when it starts back up. |
