Kei San has had issues with past NETS and their treatment. Principal is on a power trip and English corner is on a roof. Kids are reputed to be lacking in any motivation and not so nice.
Lots of Mosquitos out there as well.

Cheung Chau....no idea, but Gov't schools are usually pretty good.

Thank-you for your response, Foster-much appreciated. Addly, I did get a similar impression. My only concern about Cheung Chau is the commute- it is a 50-minute ferry ride either way, although the time could certainly be used to mark and lesson plan.

Lots of people I know who live on the outlying Islands praise them. Quiet, peaceful, nicer than the city. And yes, the commute for some is a nice idea..time to regroup and relax.

I met with Kei San as well and have spoken with their out-going (highly negative) NET. Not sure what to make of it, to be honest.

Are you in HK now or just arriving? I have a list of available schools, if you want it, contact me through a Private Message.
