Anyone know anything about BEET?

One of my students is looking into the program and had asked me, so I thought I would turn it over to this forum.

Anyone know of any good summer programs?

I've never heard anything good about BEET - but I HAVE heard some (very) libellous things about their director/s!

So, best stay clear of them. One of the best EFL providers in the business is Bell, and they run some very good (and expensive) summer camps in the UK. Give 'em a try, I say.

Good luck!

I assume you're talking about BEET bournemouth. 2 of my mates did their CELTA there and said it was a really good and well run course. I have no idea what the actual school is like though. I bet, though, that if they run a CELTA course they take on a lot of new and inexperienced teachers...we all had to start somewhere as teachers...but as a student i would probably try and avoid schools with lots of new teachers...just a thought...
