Have just returned from Russia. Everytime someone heard me speaking English they asked if I was American. My Russian is very poor but the answer 'Nyet, Amerikanski durak' always ensured smiles, warm handshakes, fraternal back-patting and free drinks Laughing

Them: "Are you an American?"
You: "No, I'm an American idiot".
