Hey how do I go about ordering stuff from Mac in Japan. I can't read Japanese and I don't think the Canadian store will ship to Japan. Basically I'm trying to get the video adapter for my ibook to connect to the TV. Its the miniVG to yellow wire thingy I need...Please help, I wanna watch my pirated shows and movies on a bigger screen!

HAHAHA....Nice. Doctor Payne, if you ever get the chance to come down to Osaka, there's a Mac/Apple store in Shinsaibashi. Get out at exit 8 and it's around there. Can't help you with the actual model number. Maybe if you can find the model number on the Engish website and bring that in, they will be able to help you.

I'm not sure where you live but I walked into the Apple store in Nagoya to look at laptops and after struggling awhile with the friendly and helpful shop assistant with basic English, a native speaker sales guy turned up and all our questions wre answered and some. Very busy guy though, he was looking after about 3 different gaijin at the same time.

Thanks for the help. I was in Shinsaibashi today and managed to hook myself up! Of course, "mishark" if you want me to stop by Osaka you just have to send an invite...I'm not gonna invite myself now. Wink
