It is somewhat difficult to get accurate weather via the internet, but those of you interested in teaching in Mexico may find it interesting to follow some of the temperatures and storms.
I keep an eye on the tropical storm site during this season. It seems to be fairly accurate. Scroll down below the map and click on forecast, advisory, etc for that particular storm for updated information. It will further display the next few days projected storm course and mention the warnings as they are issued. For example, Hurricane Emily looks as if it could hit Mexico, though it is still a distance off.

Although it is a few days out, the projected path of Emily goes right through Playa del Carmen. We will be ready, if and when she comes. |
