Hello All
I am certain you will all be able to assist me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in the process of becoming more fluent in Spanish. I would like to obtain a very comprehensive textbook for English speakers learning Spanish.
I took spanish about 20 years ago but remember lots of words......not so good at remembering all the verb tenses though. I would consider myself an upper level beginner.
I would like a book that would teach me more vocab words, expressions, idioms and grammar rules. At this moment, I am living in Mexico but i do plan on travelling to Spain in the near future. So a book that woulod be more focused on Latin American spanish is preferred.
Lets see, I think that is all the pertinent info.
I have asked about a spanish book at the school I teach at but one simply does not exist. ......so sad.
Many thanks in advance!!!!!! |

I like the one I used in college, and now use to teach beginning to intermediate ex-pats: Basic Spanish Grammar by Jarvis, Lebredo and Mena-something or other, and a more recent discovery, the Practice Makes Pefect series, especially the one on verb tenses. Good luck! |
