l'm starting a TeflInt course in Alexandria in 2 weeks (or less!) and possibly living there for a few months.
Does anyone know what options there are for exercising in Alex? I used to be a gym junkie and old habits etc [/quote] |

Have you don't a search on this board for Alexandria? There have been a number of threads about Alexandria and this cert program. I don't recall if this topic came up or not.
If Sekhmet is around and reading, she lives there and might be able to answer your question. Gyms are popular with young Egyptian men, so I know that they are there. But, I don't know about memberships.

Sorry!!!!! Been busy...
Anyway, yes there are plenty of gyms around here, but first, are you male or female ananas? It's important, because there are some places you can go as a man that you definitely wouldn't want to try as a woman! I'm a member of a fairly big gym here, but I'm not sure if you can get short-term memberships at any of the good ones. If you're male, there are hundreds of opportunities, and it's just up to you to choose the one you like best!
When you get to Alex, check out the gym at "Deeb Mall", that one is pretty good, and I think you can get short-term/weekly memberships there.
Have a nice trip, and welcome to Alex!!
