ciao, I'm wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get a freelance work visa for Italy as opposed to a visa for fixed-contract? If a person is working freelance, theoretically the 'employer' shouldn't have to prove that a 'job' is being taken from an EU-citizen..... I would think.... |

If you're EU, you don't need a visa of any description.
If you're not EU, you're probably talking about a visa for "lavoro autonomo". I'm not sure what the laws are regarding these - maybe you already need to have a business in place? I'm not sure you can just come over here and work freelance - especially as to do that you need a P Iva, for which you need residence, for which you need to show you can support yourself...
Have a look through the forums here, or check with your consulate. |
