Sometimes it is not easy to find out about bad schools.
Many of the websites now have a "search engine".
One of these sites is www.esljunction.com
One can key in the bad school - in a local search engine - and there you have all the information that you need.
For instance you can key in

"My English World Club"

or as it has changed its name "English World Club"

or simply "EF"

and you will get access to all the threads. Very Quick

Two other sites worth looking at;

Nathan China School Review (you can find it through www.Google.com the best search engine)

www.teflchina.com (the mentor lists have information about schools)
or you can also use the archives.

I caution people who read those articles to pay special attention to the date and the complainer's writing style. A few months ago someone was warning people on this forum about a particular school that has invited me to teach. I wrote that person and guess what? Mostly positive feedbacks and even the negative feedbacks were minor. Why? The person who made the FT's life a living hell has been fired so now all is well.

Often it is just a case of culture shock and/or misunderstanding.

I agree with tw. caution is what one should follow.
Check all the schools one can.
Obtain as much information as possible.

Look for the smoke - analyse the posts.
Some of the employers pose as teachers on these posts and
try and make things sound fine when really it is not.
I just want to help you read as much as possible - then make your own judgement. If you mke the wrong decision - later tell others - warn them.
Be fair and reasonable - that is all I ask for.
