I was accepted into their summer program at the end of last month. I am wondering if there is anyone else who has been accepted into their program? If you have been. have you received any updates about the program? This program is based out of Guangzhou and the chinese represenative's name is Kelvin Luo. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

In June I contacted US Coordinator to verify my
arrival/ dep schedule OK with them. This was forwarded
to local Chinese coord (Kim?)
At my second email he replied NOT to pay tickets as
program postponed likely 1 weekl but definitely
proceeding But would I be interested in FT position?
I followed up after 2 weeks (late June) to be advised
program now cancelled owing to flooding.
I suspect summer program was a marketing venture to
elicit FT teachers, and either there never as a summer
camp or they were unable to market it.
I have taught for 2 years FT in China & do not find this asa great surprise as such tactics not uncommon both at Chinese and Western ends..so..likely a scam my friend! Particularly as compensation & benefits promoted quite superior to average. I would strike them of to experience!

I called him on the 30 of june my wife who is chinese spoke to him first. He told her in chinese that it was cancelled. He then told me it was delayed 1 week. My wife and I became suspicious of him so that is why I posted this message. I thank you for confirming what I had already suspected. I just think about those who may have bought airline tickets from America or another foreign country and went to receive their visas. This person didn't even bother to send all of us a letter to say it was cancelled. My wife said to me that he couldn't get the funding for the program so this is why it was cancelled. I'm glad that I didn't buy an airline ticket. Thanks again for your response.
