Has anyone ever "homestayed" in Spain? I have just finished a year in Costa Rica and was planning on getting my own apartment but the family I stayed with on arrival was so wonderful that I ended up with them the full year.
Also could I get some up to date figures for the cost of living now. Let's use Barcelona as a basis. What would a homestay cost? What would it cost to share an apartment with another teacher and is this done? Food...travel. etc.
I have a BA , a TEFL cert. and teaching experience. I also have an EU passport (born in Scotland) would I be able to get a work visa with this?
