I am given to understand that there is a rumour that several people are using the handle 31.

This is not true and the matter is now closed.

Np. I am saying that I am not schizophrenic. I am given to understand that last Friday night this piece of disinformation was spread around and people believed it. Only one person, myself. uses the handle 31.

If someone tried to sign up with '31' Dave wouldnt allow. what rumour I missed it. We know there is only one 31.(edit) I've just seen a post on the Egypt forum. are you the 31 who worked in Egpyt? or is that the imposter.

Last Friday night at the whynotme do there was a rumour that several people shared the handle 31.

Of course only 1 person could have the handle 31 but I presume that the rumour was that several ET teachers were using the handle 31.

I posted on the Egypt forum as I post on others.

I am the only person who has the password and all posts under the handle 31 were written by me.

i never heard the rumours either, but i am so glad that there is only one of you. i can't imagine anyone trying to replicate your usually quite colourful posts or consistent bashing of et.

31 - You mentioned an earlier 'witchhunt' as ET officials tried to flush you out. Just curious, were there staff meetings? Do they speak of 31 at ET? Have there been any close calls with Molly? (i.e. using computer labs at the school to post "31" isms on Dave's?) (granted of course that they still have labs there - the ones we used at s.nevler were pretty much destroyed in the deprem of 99, and the repair efforts did not inspire much confidence as the primary repair material was crazy glue.)

Have you discovered why it's impossible to search the ESL Cafe forums using the Search tool and the "Search by Author" field containing the name "31"? It produces no results when I search with the browsers Firefox, Safari, and Int. Explorer.
