Well, the position in Himeji fell through, but I've been offered a gig teaching in Togane. Apparently, it's 30 min from Chiba and 1.5 hours from Tokyo. Someone also told me it was "by the sea."
Is there anything anyone can tell me about this city?
Anything at all?? |

never been there but I applied for a job at a college there called Josai Womens college.
Famous because about 50% of the student faculty were Chinese students who came over to work illegally in Japan.
Pretty rural by the sounds of it. |

| I lived there for a year. I couldn't wait to leave. If you have a car it might be tolerable. My bowling skill got better. |

i surf every weekend and togane is close to the ocean. i would love to live there due to its proximity to the many good breaks in chiba (i say good in a relative way) near kukukuri, katagai etc.
don't know much about the city though to be perfectly honest. i think a car would be necessary |
