I just want to warn potential applicants to CE LIBRA in Poland. There are many problems with this company.
They promise a lot, but what they deliver is not always the same.
The paperwork at this school is an absolute nightmare.
Expect a 'not so clean flat' with the minimum, the pay is not competitive with other schools in the area- namely in Bielsko-Biala (a mid sized Southern Polish city of 200,000) where life isn't very expensive- but normal pay to 'native speakers' is better at other schools.
Also, there are some screwy money problems. This isn't a 'big' company, its owned and managed by a married couple and there are 8 branches in different cities. As of 2009, the school has shrunk to only two branches.
They seem to have spread themselves rather thin, but put on the facade of a big, stable company.
Lots of students attend the school and they pay a premium to learn there, but the owners can't seem to pay on time. They also promise minimal commuting, but that changes quickly into taking the bus all over to various schools. Just beware and look for other schools if you wish to teach in Southern Poland.
Best of luck. |
