Scot47/Hamish, as much as we look up to your infinite wisdom, may I suggest a short experiment?

We all know that posts on the old board vanished after two or three days. Within reason, we could all write what we liked. Now, however, our posts provide indelible evidence of what weve been drinking before we log on. You really have to be careful of this modern internet stuff.

Please can you check your recent posts here, and elsewhere on the board, in two or three months? Im sure even you will be surprised at the hilarity and negativity of most of your comments.

No, Im not an unqualified backpacker. Im as qualified as you. Yes, I confess to being one of your hated under-40s, blame my parents for not opening that bottle of cognac a decade earlier. Werent you 39 once?

Now, Ive no doubt whatsoever youre a world-class teacher and your students love you. Saying that, your posts are hilarious. Along with many others, I know youre winding us up. If not, youve been teaching way too long. Keep it up, mate, ha ha. Cheers. Laughing Very Happy Smile [email protected]

I wonder what Hamish would think about this job in Brazil?

There are false gurus everywhere. What I find ASTONISHING is that some people actually take all this stuff seriously. Did no one ever develop a sense of humour (or "humor") in this job ?

Scot47 wishes the world to know that he is not and never has been Hamish. He can forward messages to the Great Guru who is currently teaching Standard Interterran Communication to Exotics and Aliens on the Planet Tralfamador.

His only comment on that job is "And you thought Saudi Arabia was difficult !"

"a bitter and twisted old thing"
My master, the Great Guru Hamish may take exception to being called OLD. He is wise but beyond the counting of years.

He is still prepred to answer questions in return for a donation to his Pension Fund. Western Union transfers preferred. He can also sell you a nice TEFL Diploma. Prices (and wording) negotiable. He is no more dishonest in this than many of the sharks swimming around these waters.

Ah! Another Zombie thread!

Arazashi Sushi still posts. Not sure about the others. I could check all their profiles for last posts, but I'm not that bored.
