What can you expect to get per hour for private tutoring in HK and is there a lot of work available? Also what is the average monthly salary at a language school? Is there much demand for IELTS training in HK?
Thanks for your time |

I was getting around 200-250 HK an hour, I knew some long termers who were making five hundred an hour off some clients which is pretty good money. Language chains such as ready to learn offer around 14-15000 p.m
Berlitz pays more but the hours are pretty mad.
Many professionals in HK are bi-lingual and english is widely spoken so this may impact on IELTS demand. I guess there will be some kind of market though it didnt seem to be as developed as say, Taiwan. You're experience may be completely different to mine of course.
Hope this is of some use to you.
Good luck.
