I've read a bit about Taiwanese and Japanese expats living in Bangkok. What about Koreans?

Are there any living in Bangkok?
Do I have to justify the question or something?

Yes, there are.

No, you don't.
But you really should try asking one more targeted towards a useful answer.
Which was what I thought Bluffer was trying to elicit.

Yes, there are folks from around the globe in BKK, including Koreans maybe even some North Koreans.

According to online info:

"About 500 North Koreans were estimated to have sneaked into Thailand in recent years from China's Yunnan province, going to Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong in Chiang Rai, and from Myawaddy in Burma to Mae Sai in Chiang Rai. There were about 10-20 people in each group."

I think most South Koreans live near Sukhumvit Road where you will find a number of Korean restaurants run by Korean people.

ok. Perhaps dodging immigration in Korea has made me a little oversensitive to being questioned. Embarassed
I need to relax a bit.
Mind you, that really was all the information I required.

There are gobs of Koreans clustered around Asoke, mixed in with the Japanese, kind of. Lots of the better private lessons are with Korean kids as their fathers don't generally want anything to do with them and are quite happy to pay someone to help their kid play Starcraft for two hours every day.

The Korean expats are generally employed by a Korean company, rather than working directly for a Thai business. You often run into Japanese or sometimes a Chinese out in the bars or whatever, but the Koreans keep to their groups a lot more, as is typical from what I've heard.

Yeah, that could be good for me though as I also speak some Korean.
Asoke is worth a look then.
