Hi folks,
Little help here, please, from any computer-savvy folks out there. I went to burn a music CD, but it somehow crashed the computer. I've read about this happening with some CDs now, so I assume that's what happened. Anyway, Windows won't start up. It says I can use the setup CD to repair the computer, but the repair option asks me for the administration password, but I have no idea what that is. I can just re-install everything, but then I'd lose all my data. Help!

You just need to insert the disk that you used to install your operating system (unfortunately you are using Windows) and click on the "repair" option.
If you dont know the admin password, you can always use something like Ultimate Boot CD to get your info off the disk. |

Try typing in your usual password. It's quite possible you have always logged on as Administrator without realizing it. |
