Which dictionary do you use most for reference?

I was looking at dictionaries. I am trying to figure out, if I only bring one, which English-Polish/ Polish-English dictionary is best for reference use. One translator’s review of The Kosciuszko Foundation and Oxford/PWN dictionaries is here:

I was curious what experiences those here had with these dictionaries for reference or consulting work.

I am also curious if these items are cheaper if purchased in Poland. The Kosciuszko Foundation set costs $100 minimum, and Oxford/PWN set is about $150 minimum. I would be easier not to need to bring a bulky set of dictionaries, or lug them around airports.

I fancy Collins myself-much cheaper and certainly adequate for your average Polish learner. Get the Professor Fisiak edition on Amazon for $45.

If you're looking for a backpack-sized dictionary try Longman's, also by Fisiak. This is more of a dictionary for a Polish learner of English, but I still find it quite handy.
