hi ...question. i am coming from china for a visit, stopover in china on my way home to the states. i have a few bootleg dvds i am going home from china with. do you see any forseeable problems at customs? do the thai go through luggage? does anyone know if chinese dvds work in thailand?

Most Thai DVD players are region free because of the demand for them there. But the non-copied DVDs are region 3, same as China.
What do you mean "a few"? If it's a few anything, even a few severed heads, no customs agent in the world will raise and eyebrow. Even customs in America lets people waltz through with hundreds of copied DVDs, generally, and no one's tougher.
Thai customs is about as lax as it gets. Their legal problems generally involve things leaving the country, not coming in. |
