I have read a similar topic and there were two conflicting statements. Can anyone clarify if a non-legal resident can get insurance, where, and how much? Thanks again, Ben  |

| Ben, I don't know if you want health insurance over there. I was in a 9 month fight with my empoyers to get my visa and health insurance back..(as I was illeagal they would not put me on the Caja. Finally, after resigning with less than 2 weeks left I was in a really bad bicycle accident that landed me in the public hospital in Puntarenas... This beautiful hotel on the mar I do not recommend!! There is some kind of travel insurance...I don't know much about it but I promise you if you get sick you are going to find yourself in private clinics anyway!! Buena suerte! |
