I have been living and working in China for a year now, it's been a pretty good experience overall, that's part of the reason I want to go to Taiwan, like China but more developed which sounds good to me.
One thing I have missed while being here is sport on TV, particularly rugby. There is Satellite TV here but it is too expensive to justify on my wage, but it retrospect if I got it at the start of the year it probably would've been okay.
So what am I looking at for Sat TV and does it have international and domestic (Super 12) rugby.
Cheers,

Also want to know about hockey. Considering it is back on this year, I would love to watch it again. I miss it so.......
Sorry I can't help about the whole rugby watching thing. |

You can get cable but it doesn't guarantee seeing all the games or seeing them live. Saturday night's tri-nation game was only played on Star Sports today(Sunday). Yes, you can see a few super 12 games.
I think cable costs something like $400NT a month but if you want actual Sat TV the best thing to do would be to have a look at www.forumosa.com and contact the guy that installs Satellite dishes as he would be the best person to give you a price and further info. |
