Any one know how I might find a futon in Taipei? I am new to the area and don't really have a lot of time to explore the city with the exception of my work place and the apartment I am renting for the summer. I need to get a bed by september 1rst when I hope to have a new place. I have slept on a futon for the last 10 years and I love it. In Canada there are cheap and easy to get and move. I have not seen a place that sells them and have serached for this and various other things but maybe I am not the brightest when it comes to digging stuff up on the web. Never seem to come up with the info I need. If anyone can let me know where to get one I would greatly appreciate it.

Try any of the major department stores. I saw some on sale in Carrefour over the weekend, they sell many types of Futons and Tatami's. They also deliver them to your home as well.
