I see that 4 of the teacher's colleges are for men (Nizwa, Sur, Sohar and Salalah) and 2 are for women. Does that also go for the teachers? From what I can tell, of those 4, Salalah would be the best location, right? |

Salalah is actually co-ed ... unless something has changed since 2003. Mind you, this co-ed stuff in such a conservative place as Salalah gets very interesting. Just witness the problems encountered in the library at the teacher's college. Even the bathroom are all wrong because it's a Western design. And the schedule headaches. Oye! You don't want to know the [stuff] about veils in that school. Fascinating culture clash. |
