Meeting private lesson students varies immensely. I've had great luck with a particular cafe with some students. It has a private room we can use, but when it is taken, we have to suffer with smoke and noise in the main rooms. The owners have been really nice and gave my students discount tickets.
I've also had good luck with meeting a couple student in their offices after work hours or in their homes. |

After an initial meeting at Starbucks (because it's close and easily recognised) my privates have been happy to continue at my apartment. I was a little apprehensive about how that might be taken and was at pains to point out my wife would be present but so far all of my privates, all women haven't batted an eyelid.
Another option might be the local library I know ours has private study rooms available. |
