I am planning to go to Taiwan soon. I am wondering whether it will be much more difficult to find work after arriving in the month of September.
Any advice or info is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

There's always work for someone who can do the job. Timing-wise, you are kissing away almost a month's pay in salary. Save your sheckles and come in January. Or realize that you will be taxed at 20% and you will see nothing back. That's just the way the tofu stinks...sorry. |

The next three weeks (middle and end of August) are the best times to get a job as a non Chinese teacher on Taiwan.
You need to be aware that the money is not what it used to be. Taiwan is an excellent place for people wanting to learn about Taiwanese culture and teaching English on Taiwan is a good way to do that. In the past, teachers were well compensated so as to offset all the problems and adversity associated with non Chinese living on Taiwan. That is no longer the case.
Prospective Taiwan teachers.

This is not true and you have failed to support this claim with any evidence.
The fact is that wages are higher now than they have been in the past. They certainly haven't skyrocketed, but they have certainly not gone down either. Aristotle is most likely talking about earnings for illegal teachers as this is the group that he generally comments about. |

He is wrong. Don't listen to him. He is a freak. He should shut TF up.
Taiwan is a fine place to live and earn a very decent living.
Can anything be done about Aristotle's incessant paranoia? |
