I was wondering what the best way to find a job in Japan as a DJ, i.e.: at a nightclub, gathering, etc.
I'm thinking it might be easier to just go there and check it out, but I would also like to leeway into where to look, and maybe line up something for when I get there so I don't end up floundering without a job.
I could teach English, so I was thinking of possibly doing both. I just know I would be a lot happier playing music for people.
I've also been a music events promoter since 2001, and doing something similar there would be interesting. I just would like to know the best place to look for jobs where I won't get screwed over in some communication mix-up and land in some undesirable situation.
