Really depends on your skill-set and interests.
If you're looking to make an income that approaches Western-levels you would probably need to teach at a local branch of a foreign university, such as RMIT, where the demand would be, from what I've seen, for instructors of IT or Business courses. Of course, you can also teach EFL at Vietnamese or foreign universities.
As far as humanities/social sciences go, I know an American sociology professor who has given a few lectures here but he doesn't get paid for it and he lectures in Vietnamese. |
