Has anyone lived in or visited Myslenice? If so, could you describe to me what the city is like?

Thank You

Joseph Bernardo

Living just outside Krakow, I've had a few occasions to visit Myslenice. Can't tell you much; the main square is fairly attractive, but the town gives the impression of being a bit small-time and provincial--which isn't necessarily bad. Not far away is Zarabie, a pleasant recreation area along the Raba river--a nice place for a summer stroll, a beer or a barbecue. It's about an hour's bus ride to Krakow, a bit longer to Zakopane and the mountains. There's a good swimming pool in Myslenice as well. So there are plenty of options. You could do worse.

Sorry this is late, but I've been on vacation.
