|

This is a little bit premature, but I am looking to teach in Turkey next summer. I am enrolled in a Masters of Education program (initial licensure track) for the fall, with a Graduate Assistantship. The assistantship ends in May and I need to find work for the summer, before returning to class in September '06.
Is it possible to get hired just for the summer months in Turkey? I have a TEFL certificate, also. Is it difficult to find accomodation for just 3 months?
Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Yes to both questions but it would be just for pocket money. |

it is not impossible to find accommodation, but most schools are slow in the summer. You might look into a kids' camp or something like that-- Robert College has one. |

I don't mean "free" accomodation, I just mean a place to either sublease or rent. |

There are a few summer camps here(i know of one in Antalya and in Bursa) but as 31 said it is pocket money. If you are in in Istanbul a friend of mine runs a hostel that does long and short term. pm me for details |
