Can anyone tell me if coloured card/paper for charts/flashcards etc. about 80gsm, is available in Wuhan? I know I couldn`t get any in Beijing when I was there in 2000. There was only very flimsy paper, or a type of plastic/foam stuff.
Many thanks,

I have always resorted to flimsy paper, but I try to get my flashcards laminated with plastic at every opportunity. Some employers are happy to do 2 or 3 a term, others to do 20 or 30. Needless to say, I redraw a lot of pictures. One of these days, I'm going to buy my own laminating machine. |

You can use index cards as well, if you are hand writing them. Or, if you want to print out 9 on a sheet of paper, then you can glue them to index cards as well. Time consuming, yes, but there are no "Kinko's" in China to make it easier. |

Thanks for all the replies. I have a laminator and will bring it with me. Looks like I`ll be taking some coloured A4 paper as well. So darn heavy tho. Maybe sending some of this stuff by freight will be cheaper. hmmmmm..... |

You can use regular paper, just use about three sheets. Works fine. |

You can easily get colored A4 paper in China. Just head over to your local arts & crafts shop and they should have plenty of it; pretty good quality too, heavy enough to make flash cards out of it. Not to mention the cheap price |
