I have just been asked to name my price. A 10 day job in Erbil in a turkish private school. Speaking classes only. Thats the only info I have at the moment. How much would you say and would you do it?
I also posted this on the Turkish forum because it is a Turkish school |

as there have been a couple of threads on Iraq i thought i'd share this with you. I was offered 3000 dollars for 42 hours teaching over a 10 day period. I have no idea if this is a good offer or not but being a coward I am not going. I'll stick to the madness of Istanbul. |

See? in spite of what everyone says, you are smarter than you look!! (assuming, of course, that your avatar is a self-portrait...)
Seriously, I don't think it would be enough for me. But, I too am an admitted coward about going to places where people may start shooting.

Good for you dmb! Money isn't everything - yeah it helps, but I wouldn't gamble my life on it |

I've done a bit of research about Erbil. It actually looks a really interesting place, somewhere I'd like to visit. Another time. |

dmb, if your Turkish salary won't stretch that far, I'll help you buy a one-way ticket to Baghdad for 31. I'll even throw in an "I love Dubya" t-shirt. |

Fear of the moderator prevents me from replying as I would like to the previous two Scottish posters. |
