Sino Canada is now starting their third year of operation. It is a fully certified off-shore BC school teaching BC curriculum.
It is a beautiful new facility located on a rural lake 1 hour outside Shanghai.
I had a wonderful year of teaching despite some of the glithes that will arise only in China.
If you are interested - I can share with you all my experiences most of which were positive.

What I am interested in:
- In what capacity are you posting here?
-In what capacity were you on the payroll of that employer?
- What kind of school is the "Sino-Canadian School"?

This school once advertised on TEFL.com, and I sent the authorities an e-mail, indicating an interest to teach there.

I got absolutely no reply whatsoever, but I guess that this was partly to do with the fact that I am neither Canadian nor American, and the advertisement did say that the school was looking only for people who are citizens of these two countries.

The least that the school could have done, in my opinion, was to say that only Canadian and U.S. citizens were being sought to fill FT positions, but I guess that Chinese administration personnel do not have to say anything to people that they have no interest in dealing with, especially if they do not fit the criteria. Mad

In any case, I am happy at my current school, and my wife and I have just bought property here in Wuhan, so we would not now be going to halfway between Suzhou and Shanghai, anyway.
