Does anybody (at IPA, DCC,JIC, KFUPM...etc) have a solid information yet on the holiday schedules for Ramadan and Eid?

27th October - 7th November.
It's possible that they may be extended to 11th November, but there is nothing official yet.

IPA women's college says that holidays are Oct.26 to Nov 12th so I guess that is close to what stephen Jones estimates give or take a day or two.

Thanks for that Stephen Jones and cmp45.

I think you both refer to the exact number of days for the holiday. ie. Wednesday will be 26th which is strictly speaking a working day and ditto for the 12th of November which is Saturday.

If we consider ONLY the "off" days for the holiday, they will span from Thursday the 27th of October till Friday the 11th of November, a total of 15 days..... (was really hoping for more!)

Incidently, have the students arrived in yet? Laughing

And just out of curiousity cmp45..... are these monkeys in a cage?! Confused I have boon looking at the picture for tha last few minutes.... can't make a decission if these monkeys are behind bars iside a wooden cage or even more bizarrely the person taken picture is ! The right hand side of this cage seems missing!! (it could be in a safari park... but what are these wooden bars for?!)
