Has anyone ever processed a visa application in Kuala Lumpur? Easier or more difficult than Penang? Thanks.

I'd have said more difficult a week or two ago, but Penang seems to have got 'funny' recently.

Funny how, Ken? "Funny" can be a funny kind of word--and sometimes not very funny at all.

Life in Thailand. Laughing

After you've been here a while, you'll see that every now & then,

the Thai government launches an anti-corruption campaign,

fires a few immigration officials who were 'on the take'

and grabs a few 'PR' headlines in the local press.

This can make a particular border a bit 'hotter' - and a little

more difficult to obtain certain visas. (Non-Bs, for example)

kenkannif knows what's up,

so take his advice! Wink

Thankfully, things usually return to 'business as usual'

within a few months, or a new border opens up ...

or people simply go to a different border

or a different city.
