Does anyone attend any of the Buddhist centres in Taiwan? I don't live in Taiwan but I'm thinking of moving there.
I follow Kagyu Tibetan Buddhism and also the Rigpa schools directed by Sogyal Rinpoche. I saw there is a FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition) centre there too.
Does anybody attend these centres there in Taiwan? Are there teachings and classes in English? What other options are there for the follower of Tibetan Buddhism in Taiwan?

If you are a student of the Kagyu tradition you might like to visit one of Thrangu Rinpoche's centres in Taiwan. You can find the addresses at www.rinpoche.com

Also see Buddhism in Taiwan for some more useful links.

Thanks for the info. Any idea if any of these centres teach through English? I know that must be very unlikely but English is sometimes the language of teaching in some continental European centres.

While they probably won't have a any teachings in English the resident lamas or monks may speak English. I used to visit one of the centres in Taipei a few years ago and the lama there spoke reasonable English. He was always happy to talk to me and answer my questions.
