Hi,

I am trying to find the best list of Hostels
online.

I need email addresses, ideally.

As you may know if you have tried, it is a pain in the neck to make reservations with one book on your knees - turning the pages, switching screens and then find out that email address is not valid

I don't know if it's listed anywhere, and Ottawa certainly isn't a good place to go if you are looking for a job (in the "downtown" area, especially if you don't speak French), but the hostel there is super-awesome. It used to be a jail. In fact it's where the last hanging in Canada occured. It's worth a weekend trip to Ottawa just to stay there (and to go to the marche/market where there are a tonne of pubs).
