Thanks

Don't bother. Drive on your national license and remember to leave Poland once every six months. |

well, if youre English in England you can get a provisional license, and then your mate can sit next to you and teach you how to drive (insurance permitting.)
In Poland, it's not so easy. You can only be taught by a registered professional, so you'll have to go through one of those comedy courses of driving around courses at Bemowo airport before they let you on tarmac. As far as registering for the course goes - I have no idea. Just call one of the billions of "Nauka Jazdy" posters you see |

Being that I am American, I need an international driver's license. I have a car and got pulled over and issued a ticket last year. The cop was ready to nail my butt to the floorboards when I showed him my American license, but then when he saw that I had an international license he was cool. As I will more than likely be applying for Polish citizenship, I suppose I too will need a Polish license. I understand that the written part isn't so bad, but the practical exam is a nightmare. It's quite common for people to fail it several times, mostly due to failing the parking aspect of it. It sounds pretty ludicrous to me, but what are you going to do? |
