If you are qualified to teach in schools in your own country, preferably a regular schol subject rather than EFL, you should find that international schools offer better pay and conditions than most EFL jobs. There are, however, a multitude of schools passing themselves off as international schools these days so you really need to check them out before committing yourself. |

Probably not the same, probably higher in the ME (but the cost of living is higher too). As far as I know there is nowhere in the world that pays $100,000 for a primary school teacher. Normally people that are thinking of earning that 'big paycheck' don't study education.
I don't know the pay these days, but it used to be that Alaska paid very high salaries since it is very difficult to get people to live there. Not too much market for ESL up there though.
