Has anyone had the experience of teaching in China with i-to-i? I know it costs a bit, but, after reading some of the posts here, i've come to the conclusion that it's worth a few hundred pounds to know that you'll definately have a school, accommodation and guaranteed salary.
Any thoughts? |

I once had a good close look(as you do). So just an opinion really.
They seemed kinda well structured, organised and great marketing.
If you have the finance available and you like the piece of mind of having paid for the service before hand.
Some people prefer this way. It's not very normal, but have met a few FE's who had paid American companies and found they were not concerned about it, or they were prepared to pay extra for the piece of mind etc..
If you do not have the finance, it just do the reseach like it has been said. Just like you are here, and maybe a bit on the Culture and History. It takes a little time, but it will enhance you visit and your vision. |

i-to-i? Rip-off!
Well organised? Certainly, but for whose benefit?
Charging for a course recognised by nobody but themselves, then charging again for volunteer or badly-paid jobs in various countries?
Please. Just apply directly to vacancies. There is no need to pay to teach anywhere. |

I did an i-to-i TEFL and found it an incredibly good intro to teaching.
However, they currently appear to be recruiting for Aston english/AES, a chain school in China, who offer a free training course upon your arrival in China. Check out the jobs board!!!
I hope this helps. |
