The "Gran Dicionario Ingles" by Oxford is excellent: a doorstep of a thing whose best feature is a cd-rom containing all of the content of the book meaning you only have to type in the first few letters and the word will come up or you can double-click to highlight a word in a text or on a web page and it will translate it automatically. Its not that cheap, around fifty euros, but worth every penny in my opinion (it even has wierd S. American slang words, footballing terms etc.) |
